so much I gotta give it away! HAHA yess so I'll "pass it on" in the form of a post :D

So it happened I had a birthday..yknow, only just my sixteenth etc etc..

totally got conned that nothing was gonna happen and got very surprised (such an understatement). SOOOOO this is all i have to say for now:

hey all da HAPPY ppl of PCG1!!!hows ur week??goody good??guess wat??!!i think i'm da HAPPIEST person today!!why??why??because exams is OVER!!!wooohooo!!no more exams until...hhmm..my spm trials?hopefully!!tmr is teacher's day in my school!having this games carnival for the school!n im in charge of this yummy yet fattening food!nacho's+cheese+mayonise!!goodness!!=S haha..its gonna b a HALF day!!then probably goin to 1u with my mummy!not sure yet though..hehe..then guess wat??!!its 2 weeks holidays for KAYLEE!!!=) n for every1 else too!haha..>.<>

1) Pray for ourselves!!as we go for the special session for youth n children by the key speaker of MCCC,lets go with an open heart n mind ya??ask God to reveal something to u through the session!pray also dat we will discipline ourselves to spend at least 10-15 minutes with God everyday!!Pray also dat as we learn about peer pressure,we will be able to apply the things we've learned and stand up for the right thing at the right time!its difficult at the beginning,but ur friends will look up to u and respect u without u knowing!!trust me!=)

Mentoring

Hey people.

First of all, I've gotta say that I'm so happy with the cg attendance last week! We had 22 present out of 26! I'm excited.. Hehe.

Anyway, as the title is probably self-explanatory, I just want to remind you guys of the mentor-mentee thing that we committed ourselves into last weekend. Please remember to call your mentee and check on them. By checking on them, I don't mean just call to see whether they have done what they wrote on the paper or not. I hope you guys would update each other on the latest happenings in your life. Don't make it strictly 'business', you know what I mean? So yeah. Make sure you call your mentee(s) okie? And if your mentor didn't call you at all this week, please report to me. I'll make sure he/she suffers! Muahahaha...

Some updates from me! Erm.. Classes have been quite good so far. Since I'm only taking 2 subjects this semester, it's not very stressful. However, as it is a short semester (7-week), most of my assignments are due in the next 3 weeks. Which is quite overwhelming considering the fact that I've just started like last week and there are already5 assignments to do. Sigh. Only by God's grace am I going to survive this semester..

Other than that, I'm going to do a naturalistic observation tomorrow. Hehe. I'm not going to explain what that means because it's going to take up an entire paragraph. But basically, I'm going to sit in Secret Recipe for like 3 hours and observe whether people in general go dutch (means, pay for themselves) or treat their friends in meals. That's the topic we chose lah.. So yeah. Pray that I'll be super observant tomorrow. I'm supposed to be inconspicuous (stay 'invisible') and unobtrusive (non-interfering). Heh. I'll update you guys on how it goes. Maybe I'll snap some pictures too. Haha. So much for being inconspicuous ; )

For those who are still in the midst of exams , ALL THE BEST!!! Remember to spend time with God despite all the last minute cramping because the Bible says, "seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these shall be added unto you." (Matt. 6:33) I'll be praying for you guys! You're the best! You can do it! : )

hey everyone!
how's everyone's week been so far?
okay, to tell you the truth, mine's exhausting and quite unbearable.
AND i can't believe its still Tuesday. :(

so anyways hehe :]
i have two prayer items:

1) Pray for my mom.
she's caught a fever and a VERY high one actually of about, hmmm. 50+degrees? She's been having it for a while, and she feels really awful. She had to stay in bed all day and all night, and she can barely do anything at all because of her unbelievably high temperature. It would be great if you guys could pray for a fast recovery :]

2) Pray for me :)
I've been having quite a hard week filled with debates, projects, assignments, thousand word essays, and the list just goes on, and on, and on. In a few weeks, i would be having my final exams since my summer break is approaching really soon, and oh, i'll be having this debate thing called WorldStock, where i would have to debate in front of the whole grade (hundreds of students), and i am really really really really really nervous. EEK. Public speaking is one of my weaknesses, and my knees just turn to jelly whenever i have to speak infront of a lotta people :X
So,
please please please pray for God's guidance and aide to help me study for my exams, and confidence so wouldn't faint when i speak during the debate, hahaha :)

and i assume many other people are also having exams so pray for them too!

Friendship Connection Saturday

Hello peeps from PCG1!!

Do you guys miss me since i didn't make it to CG last week?? =P For those who don't know, i went to sarawak for a holiday!That place is great if you love greens. hehehe. I had lots of different sarawak food which in my opinion, it's not as good as KL food! haha. =D

Anyway, my week has been great since i get to spend it in sarawak. However, it's my last week to enjoy since my holidays are coming to an end. yup, i'll be working!! sounds so old -.- but no, i'm not quitting uni, i'm just doing my vacation training there for 2 months! after that i'll be continuing my studies for Year 2 in Business studies!

So, include me in your prayer items yah? pray that i'll be able to learn from this vacation training and that i'll get good seniors *wink* and also pray that i will not do any major mistakes there. hehehe. oh oh and also, pray for me to have good health too! =P nobody likes a sickly trainee rite?

wat have i been up to this week?haha..sadly..im stuck at home with my books!!wow..i "love" my books alot u know??trying to fit in as much stuff into my brain as possible cuz EXAMS is NEXT WEEK!!aarrgg!!oh oh!!know wat??i CUT my HAIR 2day!!woohoo!!haha..now its around shoulder length?or more than dat actually..haha..=P didn't wanna cut but my mum was like must CUT!!='( hehe..i skipped school 2day..stayed at home to study..did addmaths,addmaths and addmaths..haha..dats all from me!

1) Pray for everyone who's having exams!!(lucky jamie,sylvia,eunice,victor and..who else??) pray dat we'll be disciplined to study,won't get distracted easily,remember and understand all dat we study as fast as possible!! ask God to remove any form of stress so dat we'll be happy ppl of PCG1!!=P

2) as we go for CG this saturday,pray dat we'll focus during worship and word,put aside all the things dats bothering us!

Things I'm grateful for

HELLO YALL

okok so I couldn't think of a spanking new creative way to say hello...

But anyways, I'm feeling a little ungrateful sooo, I'm going to tell you (who?) everything I am grateful for. And EVERYONE must comment, now does everyone understand my lovelies? (cough I mean, uh..yeah. Comment everyone!)

1. How God created me (even though I go gaga stationery shopping as well)

Hey everyone!

It's been a little quiet around here so I decided to make some noise.. ALAHALAHALAHALAH!!!

Ok that was fun. Hehe. So how has everyone been so far? I've missed most of you guys. Only 10 were present for CG last weekend. What happened to the rest of you lah? Anyway, for those who were absent last Saturday, we briefly learned from the example of Abraham on how to care for our friends. The passage was taken from Genesis 18: 16-33. Basically, the 3 things we can learn through the example of Abraham is:-

1. Be close to God.
When we have a close relationship with God and encounter Him through prayer everyday, He will reveal things about our friends to us.

2. Sense the urgency!
Bear in mind that you're only going to be in high school once! For some, you only have 1 year left to care for your friends of the past 4 years. So the time to care is NOW! Don't wait because you'll never know what will happen tomorrow.

3. Be persistent in prayer.
Have you been praying for your friends? If you haven't, it is not too late! Start praying for their salvation now!

Whoa.. I can preach through the blog! Haha. I just want to encourage you guys to really pray for opportunities to share your testimony with your friends. It doesn't have to be your conversion testimony, it could be simply your daily encounter with God. Tell them how Jesus helped you overcome problems, cared for you or simply just listened to you when you were down. If you're still scared about this, you can start showing God's love to them by caring for them. Doing simple things like doing a favor or writing a note of encouragement.. anything to show that you CARE! Everyone loves to be cared for, right? : ) So, I'll be looking forward to hearing some great testimonies from you guys about your week at school this Saturday okie?

Speaking of which, just to give you a glimpse of what we're doing this weekend.. Remember a year ago, we did a series on Friendship? Well, for those who don't, come and find out lah! We'll be doing something similar but on a different topic. It's going to be fun because there will be activities instead of the normal word time. So come ya?

I hope to see this blog being updated more often. Meaning, I want you guys to post about your day and stuff. So that everyone is connected and we all know what's happening with each other! I'll start first ok =p

Today, I had my first class of Introduction to Abnormal Psychology, Human Development and Personality. My best friend, Caryn, and I were rather lost when we arrived in college. Reason being, we skipped the 'campus tour' part during our orientation last week. Evidently, we had no idea where our class was at. (Lesson: NEVER skip the campus tour part). Anyway, thank God Caryn bumped into some friends who happened to be taking the same subject as us. So, they led us to class. The lecture was held in the auditorium. When I first found out, I was like 'Whoa.. this is gotta be pretty amazing.' Then when I stepped into the auditorium, I was like =.=' Ok lah.. It wasn't that bad. It just wasn't as big as the ones you see in movies. HEHE. It could sit probably 300 people? While waiting for our lecturer to arrive, the place was like a market. People chatting in groups all over. Caryn and I were like lost souls sitting in one corner. Oh well, at least we had each other. Hehe. We were expecting to leave early and then go makan as usually, the first class would be more of introduction to the topic. But NO.. We were so wrong. Dr. Goh, the head of our department, is a special lecturer. A VERY hardworking one. So both of us sat in the auditorium, listening to a 2-hour lecture with an empty stomach. It turned out to be pretty interesting, learning about the stages of development in our lives. Did you know that pregnant women are most susceptible to miscarriages in their 2nd-8th week of pregnancy? NO right? Haha. Thought I'd add some facts to make myself sound smart. Heh =p

After class, we went stationary shopping! Whee.. One thing you should know about me, I love stationary shopping. Hehe. I love new pens and new notebooks. It's been a while since I bought new pens so woohoo! Oh I even got myself a new notebook which I'm very proud of because it's pretty and it's thick and it's got compartments! : D


It looks better in 'real life'. HAHA. But I'm excited and I thought I'd post at least one picture up to compensate for all the words.. I know it's getting boring.. Hehe. Oh well, I'm a happy girl today. Will be copying all my notes into my new notebook later!

Ok I think I've written way too much. This is an example of how I'd like you guys to be. POST SOMETHING LAH! Just write about your day ok! I'd love to read about other people other than myself and all the prayer requests : )

2) Pray for all da new comers who came for Friendship Connection Saturday!!Pray dat they will be more open to us and will come and join us on saturday!!ask God to soften their heart and use us to touch n bless their lives n pray dat 1 day they'll come to know our Awesome God 1 day!!=)
